Ready, Set, Go!

On Monday, July 5th, we begin our six week Gospel crusade in the Philippines. The Lord has brought together a wonderful team of people to help us reach and reap the harvest. Our goal this crusade is to present the gospel-either through a personal witness or the preaching of the word to 70,000 people. In order to help us accomplish this task we have assembled a team of 120 soul winners from six different countries that will join me in the Philippines. We have printed nearly 500,000 'Good News' gospel tracts and a pamphlet I wrote entitled 'Be Sure' that we give to all who make salvation decisions.

Our campus ministry, Student Movement for Christ, SMCI has been diligently securing permission to preach the Gospel on University, College and High School campuses throughout the Philippines. Our first week alone we have permission to preach the gospel to the student bodies of 63 High Schools and dozens of Universities and Colleges. Our SMCI staff will work alongside us and follow up the converts from each Island during the year ahead. All who make salvation decisions will fill out a particulars card-the card will be given to our SMCI staff and through out the year they will work on following them up. Over the years we have seen many saved, disciple, and called into fulltime service as a result of our campaigns.

Please pray along with us during our campaign. Here is our schedule;

July 5-10, Leyte, Philippines
July 12-17, Cebu, Philippines
July 19-31, Negros, Philippines
August 2-7, Bohol, Philippines
August 9-14, Davao, Philippines
Please pray for power on the preaching of God's Word, open doors to preach the Gospel, protection as we travel and physical strength to accomplish the task. These are physically difficult meetings. It is what I call 'cowboy evangelism'. We will be preaching in class rooms or on open fields all day and holding Gospel meetings at night. The majority of the time we will be sleeping on the floor somewhere, bathing out of a bucket, traveling in hired vehicles or on a crowded boat. It is also the rainy season, which brings malaria. Needless to say we need your prayers.
