The Campus Evangelistic Crusade Starts This Saturday!

"Go into all the world and preach the gospel," so commanded our Lord and that is exactly what GLCC and SMC'I intend to do.

For the next five weeks we are teaming up to take the gospel to as many people as we can. On Monday our team from Singapore will meet up with our team from the Philippines and together we will storm the university and high school campuses of Negros--taking the Gospel from room to room during the day and holding Gospel Services at night.

The following week we will move onto the Island of Bohol and during the day we will go soul winning and preach the truth in stationary meetings and in the evenings show Gospel films-preaching the Gospel to crowds of people.

From there we will spend a week each in Cebu, Leyte and Davao. On each Island we will share the message of salvation to all who will listen.

Our goal is to present the saving message of Jesus Christ to 40,000 people in 5 weeks! We also will distribute 250,000 gospel tracts and we believe the Lord for several thousand salvation decisions. Our SMC'I teams will take care of the follow up and discipleship. Remember us in prayer these next five weeks as we labour to see souls snatched from the snare of Satan.

December 2008

I trust all is well and the work of the Lord is increasing. Lisa and I just finished a busy six-weeks of ministry that took us from a Restricted Access Nation, Singapore, Australia, Philippines and Cambodia. In all I preached the word over 80 times and Lisa spoke and ministered countless times.

In the RAN country we had wonderful opportunities to minister. Lisa held lectures in five different universities, teaching students on morality and making right choices. After each lecture many of these students had the opportunity to hear the gospel and make that right choice of trusting the Lord. While Lisa was lecturing I was teaching the underground church. I also had the rare opportunity to preach the gospel in several large companies. From the RAN country we immediately went to Australia were I preached for a week in a State wide preachers conference. From Australia we went directly to the Philippines and in to gospel meetings. In four days I preached the gospel in 20 different meetings to several thousand people.

From the Philippines Lisa and I and one of our workers from the Philippines went to Cambodia. In June 2009 we will be starting our first branch of Student Movement for Christ International in the capitol city of Cambodia, Phnom Phen. While in Cambodia I preached a missions conference for some Filipino missionaries and we made preparation for our campus ministry. We are excited about the possibility of reaching Cambodian students with the gospel. A young lady who was saved in our campus ministry in the Philippines will be going to Phnom Phen to pioneer the work. Please pray for this new venture of faith.

Lisa and I will spend the next few weeks in Singapore. I will be preaching a series of gospel meetings on Dec. 24-25. Our church has rented a 1700 seat auditorium for this gospel out-reach. Please pray for a wonderful harvest of souls. What a great present to present to our Lord as we remember His birth by preaching the gospel on Christmas. May the Lord grant your church a blessed Christmas and whatever you do may it result in the salvation of souls for the glory of God.

August Update

Greetings,

We trust all is well and the work of the Lord is increasing!

July 2008 Campus Evangelistic Campaign

The dawn of August 5th brought to an end over a month of aggressive evangelism in the Philippines. As many already know Student Movement for Christ International (SMCI) is our campus work in the Philippines. Presently we have Bible studies and evangelistic out-reaches on nearly 50 different University, College and High School campuses. During the month of July we planned, prepared and prayed to reach these campuses with the Gospel.

With the help of a teams from our church in Singapore, Highlands Baptist Church in Colorado and our own SMC'ians we took the wonderful message of Christ crucified and resurrected to Universities and Colleges on four different Islands! Being armed with over 350,000 Gospel tracts, a few gospel films and the Holy Spirit's power we shared that Good News to all who would listen.

On some campuses we took the truth from classroom to classroom. On others, we would pass out tracts and do personal soul winning and then hold Gospel meetings on the campuses in the evenings. Sometimes we would just get a bunch of students together who had no class and proclaim the Gospel to them. At other times we would invite students to a gospel film on campus and after the film we would preach the Word.

It was a privilege to speak to crowds ranging from 2 to 20 to 2000 people! In two weeks we were able to pass out over 75,000 of the Gospel tracts and share the Good News with 20, 633 people. There were 11,152 people who made salvation decisions. We thank the Lord for this wonderful opportunity and the great team of soul winners who gave so much of themselves to reach so many precious Filipino souls.

Looking Forward

Lisa and I will be in Singapore for the months of August and September. I’ll be preaching a five week series on "How to have a Happy Home" in our home church in Singapore. In October we head out for three weeks of ministry in a "Restricted Access Nation."

Please pray for …
· our ability to re-enter Myanmar soon
· the many who heard the Gospel in the Philippines
· the followed up by our team

Thanks for your prayer. The Lord heard! Praise the Lord!
